Language of Separation and Violence That Undergirds Religious Education
The task of religious educating beyond insularity, requires the suspension of ideologies and language that reflect the notion of religious, ethnic, intellectual supremacy and privilege. Therefore, recognizing the exploitation of language derived from the core curriculum of the religious text, as more than a causal contributor, is a task for the religious educator as critical theorist and critical historical analyst.
