Perhaps some of our listening audience today can find A point of identification with Zacchaeus. Maybe at one time in our life we also heard about Jesus, and were curious. And maybe just as Zacchaeus was despised, we also may have felt a lack of love from those in our community.
And just as he climbed the tree, Perhaps we also ascended up our own metaphorical sycamore tree, rising above the obstacles that would prevent us from encountering Jesus. The question for us today is do we allow God into our homes? Do we allow God into the space we live in or are we satisfied in getting a theological or philosophical glimpse of Him as we are positioned on the fragile perch of observation from a safe distance? Are we willing to respond to Gods invitation as Zacchaeus did? Share with friends and family, available on i-tunes Spotify Amazon and other podcast platforms
